Social media redemption for Pat Beverley during Bucks' Game 5 win over Pacers

Pat Beverley was the subject of numerous punchlines after the Milwaukee Bucks' Game 4 playoff loss to the Indiana Pacers Sunday night.

But with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard absent again in Game 5, Beverley was providing much-needed early offensive and defensive punch Thursday night.

The game turned in Milwaukee's favor in the second quarter when Beverley made his biggest impact

His 12 points and constant hustle on defense in that time period helped set the tone for a dominant rest of the night for the Bucks.

After being ripped mercilessly on social media after his defense on Tyrese Haliburton's winning shot Sunday night, Beverley was the one burning the doubters Tuesday night.

Milwaukee then turned a 53-48 halftime lead into a 87-67 lead at the end of the third quarter, outscoring the Pacers, 34-19.

And with the Bucks turning up the volume in this series and now one win away from forcing a Game 7 back at Fiserv Forum on Saturday, is an emergency "Pat Bev" podcast happening?
