Sixers star Joel Embiid ranks 9th in most popular NBA jersey sales
The NBA has a lot of star players in a league that continues to grow in popularity. Fans all over the world want to get their hands on merchandise of their favorite teams and players to represent their fandom.
Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid has thrust himself into the popularity conversations due to his stellar play. The big fella won the scoring title in the 2021-22 season at 30.6 points per game and he has been even better in the 2022-23 season averaging 33.6 points and 9.8 rebounds with 4.2 assists.
Take that production and combine it with his boisterous personality and it’s understandable why he would receive so much love and attention from NBA fans.
On Friday, the jersey selling numbers were released and Embiid ranks 9th in jersey sales. He is behind Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker ranked 8th and just ahead of Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard who is ranked 10th.

It is astonishing how much Embiid has continued to grow as a player and as a star in the NBA. He takes the next step in his game on a yearly basis and he has vaulted himself into the top 5 player conversation hence his popularity with NBA fans.
