Sixers star Joel Embiid attends Eagles matchup vs. Cowboys, meets with players
Philadelphia is at a fever pitch regarding its pro sports teams. The Philadelphia Phillies are in the National League Championship Series for the first time since 2010, the Philadelphia Eagles are at the top of the NFC, and the Philadelphia 76ers get set to begin their season on Tuesday.
Sixers star big man Joel Embiid was at Game 4 of the National League Divisional Series when the Phillies eliminated the Atlanta Braves as he is joining the city in their excitement over the pro sports scene. The big fella has now made a trip across the street to Lincoln Financial Field to support the Eagles.
The unbeaten Birds are in a prime-time matchup with their hated rival, the Dallas Cowboys, and Embiid was on the field tossing the pigskin around on the sideline. He also met with Eagles centers Jason Kelce and Cam Jurgens, star wideout AJ Brown, and former Eagles star running back LeSean McCoy. He even et with First Lady Jill Biden on the sidelines.
