Sixers have hope Tobias Harris can return Wednesday against Jazz

The Philadelphia 76ers have not had the services of Tobias Harris since their Feb. 25 matchup with the Dallas Mavericks. In that game, the versatile scoring forward left the game with a right knee contusion and he did not return and he has missed the team’s two games since.

Harris was upgraded to questionable for Monday’s game against the Indiana Pacers and he was close to returning then, but the team played it safe and held him out. It was a smart move too as the Sixers were able to cruise to a 130-114 win over Indiana.

The team hopes that Harris can return on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz in their final game before the All-Star break.

“I hope so,” said coach Doc Rivers. “He really tried to play tonight, but we more made the call tonight. We need him, hopefully, we can get him back next game.”

The Jazz will enter the Wells Fargo Center with the best record in the NBA so it would be helpful if the Sixers could be at full strength.
