We'll have coverage of which local players make their college selections official on Wednesday, but first here is a look at 30 of the most intriguing prospects from the Shore Conference. Some are well-known stars while others are talented prospects who flew under-the-radar in the deep and talented league. This list mostly consists of players with offers to play football at the Division I level, but there are several standouts that are noted for offers at the D-II and D-III levels.

Jack Bohm-Squicciarini - TE - Red Bank Catholic

It should come as no surprise that this list is filled with standouts from the Caseys' state title team. Incredibly, Red Bank Catholic had multiple tight ends receive scholarship offers. Bohm-Squicciarini impressed over the summer as a hybrid tight end prospect at 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, and will join Division I Bucknell next season. He signed Wednesday

Davin Brewton - MLB - Red Bank Catholic

The Shore Conference Defensive Player of the Year was an absolute force for the state champion Caseys. At 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, he amassed 132 tackles and three sacks in addition to two interception. Brewton was rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports. With his size and athleticism, he should make an immediate impact next season with the Pittsburgh Panthers. He signed Wednesday.

Tyler Burnham - OL - Red Bank Catholic

Burnham came into the year with lots of momentum after an offseason filled with offers from Power 5 programs. At a mountainous 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, it's easy to understand why he received so much interest. Little needs to be said of the Caseys' elite offensive line that was the foundation of their state championship squad, and Burnham was a key piece. Delaware scored a big commitment when the senior spurned the likes of West Virginia and Boston College to instead join the Blue Hens. He signed Wednesday.

Nick Caruso - C - Ocean

Caruso was a stud this season for the Spartans, earning second-team All-Shore honors. He possesses solid size for his position at 6-foot-2 and 290 pounds, and is the first center in school history to earn a D-I scholarship. He will be signing with Merrimack College on Wednesday.

Tareq Council - CB - Toms River North

Council is the type of long, smooth athlete that college coaches covet in the defensive backfield. At 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, he has the frame to develop into an ideal cornerback at the college level. He was an All-Shore selection with 32 tackles and two interceptions as lockdown corner, while also adding five touchdowns on offense and two punt return touchdowns. He holds multiple offers from FBS programs such as Coastal Carolina, Delaware, East Carolina and UConn in addition to nearby Monmouth.

Boro’s Jake Croce scores a touchdown in the first half. NJSIAA Group 2 Central Section title football game between Willingboro and Point Pleasant Boro. Point Pleasant Borough, NJ Friday, November 10, 2023

Jake Croce - RB - Point Pleasant Boro

Croce had historic career for the Panthers, finishing as the all-time rushing leader in school history as he was named first-team All-Shore for the second consecutive year. He's an old-school tough runner with tremendous instincts and shifty elusiveness in the hole. He currently holds offers from D-II programs Shippensburg University and Saint Anselm, two schools that have been very active in recruiting players from the Shore.

Charles Davison - OL/DL - Point Pleasant Boro

Davison is a compact interior lineman with a tremendous motor on both sides of the ball. With a 270 pound frame at 6-foot-1, it seems his future might be on the defensive line at the college level. He recently received an offer from Division II Shippensburg University and could receive more offers after a very strong senior season for the Panthers.

Connor Dietz - QB - Brick Memorial

Dietz was a sensational three-year starter at quarterback for the Mustangs, rewriting the school history books in the process. The electric 6-foot-1 athlete rushed for 1,797 yards and 25 touchdowns this season while adding another 8 touchdowns through the air. This month, Dietz announced he received his first collegiate offer from Division II American International College. The dynamic athlete will probably transition to a different position in college, but clearly has the athleticism to make an impact.

Zaeir Day - DE/LB - Donovan Catholic

The two-time first-team All-Shore performer is extremely versatile, exemplified by his 81 total tackles and six sacks last season. With a good frame at 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, he has the ideal build to become a quality edge defender at the next level. Day received his first Division I offer over the summer from Sacred Heart, but more offers are sure to trickle in after his strong senior campaign.

Griffin Egan - OL/DL - Red Bank Regional

At 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, Egan has the frame to potentially play on either side of the line in college. But it's pretty clear that the second-team All-Shore selection's future is on the defensive line where he has the athleticism to stay on the edge and the size to kick inside. Egan had a multitude of FCS offers, but ultimately committed to continue his collegiate career at Harvard.

Micah Ford - ATH - Toms River North

The Shore Conference overall Player of the Year, there is little to say about Ford that hasn't already been said. He's an absolutely electric athlete, and displayed his dynamic abilities at quarterback while leading the Mariners to back-to-back state titles. Rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports, Ford is projected to play running back in college at Stanford. He will sign Wednesday.

Middletown South's Colin Gallagher (#5) stays just ahead of the reach of Rumson-Fair Haven's Austin Kiernan during their game at Middletown Friday evening, August 25, 2023.

Colin Gallagher - MLB - Middletown South

Gallagher has been a first-team All-Shore selection in both of the past two seasons as he produced on both sides of the ball for the Eagles. He had an incredible 120 tackles, 18.5 of them for a loss, and 7.5 sacks at linebacker while adding over 800 yards and eight touchdowns as a running back. Gallagher will be joining Burnham and Whitacre at Delaware next season as the Blue Hens transition to the FBS level in Conference USA. He will sign Wednesday.

Jackson Gallagher - TE - Rumson-Fair Haven

Gallagher is still in the thick of his recruiting process after an outstanding senior season. He was a first-team All-Shore selection with 32 receptions for 517 yards and nine touchdowns as the Bulldogs advanced to the Group 2 state title game. He has solid size to build on at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, but has not yet received a D-I offer although he's getting interest. One interesting offer is from Division III powerhouse Mount Union in Ohio, which has 13 national championships in school history.

Logan Graham - DE - Red Bank Catholic

Graham was a breakout star on a loaded RBC squad, finishing as a first-team All-Shore selection after producing 19 tackles for a loss and seven sacks. He has solid size for an edge rusher at 6-foot-3 and 232 pounds, but didn't receive his first offer until recently from D-II Saint Anselm. He also holds a preferred walk-on offer from Sacred Heart.

Tommy Jeleniewski - OT - Raritan

Jeleniewski is a tenacious interior offensive lineman who received several offers. At 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, he is ready to contribute immediately as a guard or center at the collegiate level. He chose to continue his career at Division I Stonehill over an offer from Wagner.

Justin Kaye - OL - Toms River North

Kaye has emerged as a coveted late-bloomer after a tremendous season for the Mariners that saw him honored as a first-team All-Shore selection. At 6-foot-7 and 300 pounds, it's not hard to see why so many programs have taken an interest. Kaye holds scholarship offers from Long Island University, Marist, New Hampshire and Stony Brook, to name a few. He also has offers to join Penn State and Rutgers as a preferred walk-on, making his recruitment an intriguing one to keep an eye on.

Luke Krzyzkowski - TE - Red Bank Catholic

The depth across the board for the Caseys is astounding. Krzyzkowski projects as an H-back type of tight end at the college level given his frame at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds. He had 12 receptions for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns this season and received his first offers just recently, committing to play at D-II East Stroudsburg.

Matt Oliphant - ATH - Point Pleasant Boro

Oliphant exhibited his leadership chops this past season at quarterback for the Panthers, spearheading their offensive attack alongside Croce. Although Oliphant is very explosive as a runner, he also has the toughness to break tackles and refuses to go down after first contact. At 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, he could play a few different positions at the next level. He holds an offer from Navy, where he could potentially continue to be an option-quarterback in college.

Vincent Muscillo - P - Red Bank Catholic

Special teams recruiting is often overlooked, but Muscillo generated a fair amount of interest. There weren't many instances where the explosive Caseys offense had to punt, but Muscillo had 17 punts inside the 20-yard line and four punts inside the 5-yard line. He committed to continue his kicking career at Wagner over offers from Sacred Heart and Marist. He signed Wednesday.

Lorenzo Portella - OL - Red Bank Catholic

Portella is as accomplished an offensive lineman recruit as they come. He was a four-year starter for the Caseys, who were perennial contenders in each of those seasons. The first-team All-Shore selection was the backbone of an elite offensive line. He's a tad undersized for the collegiate level at 6-foot-2 and 270 pounds, but he's an incredibly polished mauler that is sure to make an impact once he adjusts to the next level. Portella has several scholarship offers, but Sacred Heart is the only Division I program to offer him so far.

Jeremiah Pruitt - WR/DB - Toms River North

Pruitt was a first-team All-State defensive back, but he was also a dynamic playmaker on offense for the Mariners with 14 total touchdowns (10 receiving, four rushing) while adding 754 total yards from scrimmage. He has solid size at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, but surprisingly only received his first Division I offer from Sacred Heart over the summer. He has also received interest from New Hampshire.

Evan Radosevich - OL/DL - Manalapan

Radosevich was a bit under-the-radar for the 4-5 Braves, but he has a solid frame at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds. He'll need to add to that frame as he prepares to join Princeton next season, where he could play on the interior or the outside of the offensive line.

Wall High School football lineman Chris Rogers (#24) shown during practice Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Wall High School football lineman Chris Rogers (#24) shown during practice Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Chris Rogers - OL - Wall

For those who saw the Knights this season, it comes as little surprise that the left side of their offensive line is two players heading to FCS programs next season. Rogers stands out from the crowd at 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, and he moves incredibly well for his size. He got his first D-1 offer at the end of the season from Wagner and subsequently committed, but he may prove to be a steal for the Seahawks.

Red Bank Emmanuel Ross catches the pass in the end zone for his team’s overtime Touchdown. Red Bank Catholic football defeats Toms River North 35-28 in Toms River, NJ on October 20, 2023.

Emmanuel Ross - WR - Red Bank Catholic

Ross was without question the most heralded prospect in the Shore this season, and he more than lived up to the hype in his final season with the Caseys. He finished with a team-high 718 yards receiving and 11 receiving touchdowns while adding another 380 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Some recruiting outlets had Ross ranked as a four-star recruit, making him the highest ranked player in Syracuse's recruiting class. He signed Wednesday. Ross changed his collegiate choice on Dec. 13 from Stanford to Syracuse. He is one of several major recruiting scores for new Orangemen head coach Fran Brown.

Benny Sasso - OL - Wall

Sasso was the other part of Wall's standout offensive line, and the 6-foot-5 tackle will also continue his career at the Division I level. Although he had an offer from Wagner and could potentially have rejoined his teammate in college, Sasso instead committed to play in the Ivy League for Columbia.

Luke Sheehan - QB - Middletown North

Sheehan was outstanding this season, throwing for 2220 passing yards and 21 touchdowns with only three interceptions. The 6-foot-2 quarterback got his first offer to play Division I football as a preferred walk-on with Bryant, but should see more offers come in during the offseason recruiting period as he decides on his college destination.

Ralee Stephens - ATH - Asbury Park

Stephens is an intriguing athlete with plenty of upside both as a football player and as a performer in track. Last month, he received his first D-I offer as a preferred walk-on at Monmouth. He has also garnered interest from New Hampshire and Wagner, indicating he'll have no trouble finding a destination to continue his athletic career.

Jake Toye - LB/TE - Brick Township

Toye is a standout on the gridiron and on the ice, where he stars for the Brick co-op hockey program. But given the amount of interest he's received, it seems certain his athletic future is in football. He was an All-Shore first-teamer at linebacker with 109 tackles and nine sacks while also adding 9 total touchdowns on offense. With great size 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, his interest has picked up with his first D-I offer coming from Wagner. He also holds D-II offers from Mercyhurst and Bentley.

Keyport's quarterback Nazir Treadwell runs the ball for a touchdown during the second half of the Keyport High School vs. Point Pleasant Beach High School football game at Donald T. Fioretti Field in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ Friday, October 6, 2023.

Nazir Treadwell - RB - Keyport

Treadwell did everything for Keyport as he manned the quarterback position last season and threw for 14 touchdowns with only two interceptions while adding 24 rushing touchdowns. He has excellent size at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, complimented by his incredible speed and elusiveness. His future is at running back, and he picked an excellent destination in FCS powerhouse Holy Cross. He signed Wednesday.

Jackson Whitacre - TE/DE - Shore Regional

Whitacre has prototypical size for either the tight end or defensive end position at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds. But Delaware is looking at him on the offensive side of the ball even though he was a first team All-Shore selection on defense after finishing the year with 57 tackles and four sacks. He settled on a Blue Hens' program now headed for FBS Conference USA, joining Burnham and Gallagher, having also received offers from Army, Brown, Princeton, Maine and Sacred Heart. He will sign Wednesday.

Adam Yevchak - OL - Donovan Catholic

The All-Shore offensive tackle has the perfect size to play the tackle or guard position at the next level at 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds. Yevchak had several offers, but committed to Fordham over the summer. With his size and polish, he could potentially make an early impact for the Rams. He will sign Wednesday.
