SHOWCASE-Tennis-Alize Cornet v Caroline Garcia - player profiles

(Repeats story published at 0200 GMT, no change in text) June 5 (Reuters) - Here is a look at the form and previous records of Alize Cornet and Caroline Garcia ahead of their fourth-round clash at the French Open on Monday (prefix number denotes seeding). ALIZE CORNET (FRANCE) Cornet comes into her last-16 grudge match against compatriot Garcia having caught the eye with her 6-2 6-1 dismantling of ninth-seeded Pole Agnieszka Radwanska in the previous round. There is little love lost between her and Garcia, whom Cornet criticised for withdrawing from France's Fed Cup playoff against Spain. With wins over Radwanska and 20th seed Barbora Strycova at Roland Garros this year, Cornet will fancy her chances of beating 28th seed Garcia. 28-CAROLINE GARCIA (FRANCE) Garcia is one of three French women to reach the fourth round at Roland Garros this year, but the number 28 seed is not on good terms with either her next opponent Cornet or Kristina Mladenovic. Both criticised Garcia for withdrawing from France's Fed Cup playoff against Spain, and denying Cornet a place in the quarter-finals would prove to be a sweet victory for Garcia. Garcia has beaten Japan's Nao Hibino, compatriot Chloe Paquet and Taiwan's Hsieh Su-wei, and the simmering feud between her and Cornet should make for a lively encounter.
