Shore high school golf player rankings. Top boys, girls from junior class

There's still plenty of golf to be played, with Shore Conference divisional titles to be won and NJSIAA sectionals looming on the horizon, a prelude to the State Championship Tournament. But over the past five weeks, players from the Class of 2025 have stepped up and made a difference on the girls and boys side.

And it's the junior class that will continue to have an impact as the spring campaign grinds on.

Here are our rankings for the top boys and girls players from the junior class for the current season:

1. Will Ross, Rumson-Fair Haven 2025

Was a shot off the lead with one hole to play at the Monmouth County Tournament, eventually finishing seventh, before firing a 78 at Charleston Springs to finish 15th overall at the Shore Conference Tournament.

2. Bowen Liu, Marlboro 2025

Stepped up with the Mustangs’ low score at the SCT, shooting 76 to finish ninth, after an 81 at the MCT gave him a top-30 finish.

3. Mailon Kent, Point Boro 2025

Kent was a big part of the Panthers’ fifth-place finish at the SCT, shooting 78 to place 15th, after a 12th-place finish at the Ocean County Tournament helped the team place second.

4. Chris Hannan, Ranney 2025

The Panthers’ win at the SCT was biggest surprise of the season, with Hannan carding a 78 to help push the team to a two-shot win over defending champion Wall.

5. Jack O’Connor, CBA 2025

Posted a 75 at Charleston Springs to finish seventh at the MCT, as the Colts shot 301 as a team to finish second behind Wall, before finishing top-20 at the SCT.

6. Matt Merkel, Holmdel 2025

A solid contributor for a team that’s been in the mix all season, Merkel was 13th at the MCT and 23rd at the SCT, where the Hornets got third place, two shots ahead of CBA.

7. Anthony LaRosa, CBA 2025

Stamped a 79 at the SCT to finish tied for 19th at the SCT, while helping to bolster the Colts’ lineup throughout the regular season.

8. Peter Tadrick, Brick Memorial 2025

Opened the season with a strong sixth-place finish at the OCT, before grabbing the early lead at the SCT with birdies on his first three holes, holding on for a top-30 finish.

9. Brendan Millevoi, Middletown South 2025

Was solid at the SCT, finishing 23rd with an 80, the Eagles’ second-low score of the round, as the team finished seventh.

10. Ed Grinvalsky, Howell 2025

A contributor all season, Grinvalsky shot 82 at the SCT, and was top-50 at the MCT, as the Eagles placed sixth.

12. Andrew Torregrossa, RBC 2025

13. Quinn Gibb, Red Bank 2025

14. Alexander Jang, Marlboro 2025

15. Eddie Greco, Ocean 2025

16. Mason Krey, Barnegat 2025

17. Bobby Calvo, Toms River East 2025

18. Finian Healey, Manasquan 2025

19. Niall Tantum, Ocean 2025

20. Dominick Petrosino, Colts Neck 2025

21. Aaron Palmer, Toms River East 2025

22. Billy Laudien, Toms River East 2025

23. Matt Bontz, Monmouth 2025

24. Tyler Levander, Middletown South 2025

25. Brian Bauer, Middletown South 2025

26. Christopher Bourlokas, Saint Rose 2025

27. Jonathan Georgiano, Jackson Memorial 2025

GIRLS

1. Sirina Ganne, Holmdel 2025

The reigning NJSIAA champion picked up where she left off last season, winning her second straight SCT title, after capturing the MCT, with the Hornets winning the team title in each.

2. Kashish Malik, Marlboro 2025

A past Shore Conference and Monmouth County champion, Malik finished second at both the MCT and SCT this season, with the Mustangs finishing second at the SCT.

3. Ruby Haloukas, Howell 2025

It’s been a busy spring so far, placing ninth at the SCT and fifth at the MCT, in addition to finishing 41st at the boys’ MCT.

4. Tatiana Konczyk, St. Rose 2025

A model of consistency so far this spring, placing eighth at the MCT and eighth at the SCT, with the Purple Roses placing third as a team.

5. Samantha Reilly, Southern 2025

Helped the Rams win the OCT team title by finishing eighth overall, coming back two weeks later to finish 17th at the SCT, the fourth best score among Ocean County competitors.

6. Ellery Donaldson, Rumson-FH 2025

A 15th place finish at the SCT helped the Bulldogs grab third place, after finishing 31st at the MCT, with her team placing fifth.

7. Isabella Compitello, Southern 2025

A key part of the Rams’ lineup, a 15th-place finish at the OCT pushed the team to a slim victory over Barnegat, before placing 26th at the SCT, with the Rams finishing fifth.

8. Olivia Kim, Holmdel 2025

Has been a solid contributor in the No. 3 spot for the Hornets, finishing 30th at the SCT, after placing 38th at the MCT.

9. Jillian Becker, Pinelands 2025

Rounds out a solid top of the lineup for the Wildcats, posting the ninth-lowest score among Ocean County competitors at the SCT, after finishing fifth at the OCT.

10. Capri Yarosz, Colts Neck 2025

Came in 28th at the MCT before placing 33rd at the SCT for the Cougars.

11. Brianna Klohn, Donovan Catholic 2025

12. Laina Foster, Southern 2025

13. Ava Tesoriero, Wall 2025

14. Jessica Block, Barnegat 2025

15. Olivia Sandoval, Jackson Memorial 2025

16. Ashley Lopresti, Marlboro 2025

17. Althena Caruso, Southern 2025
