Shore girls lacrosse 15 standout performances from Week No. 2

The eclipse may have came and went at the Shore last week, but these girls lacrosse players are here to stay.

A lot of good matchups happened last week with some division games, high scorers, and accurate passers. Now that all teams have played some games, there are more players being highlighted than we saw in the previous week.

Here's the standout performers from Jan. 8 to 14.

Rachel James, Rumson-Fair Haven, Jr.

The midfielder came up big last week for the Bulldogs when she had five goals and two assists in a win over Ocean City, plus three goals against Red Bank Catholic on Thursday.

Lily Wood, Trinity Hall, Jr.

The midfielder finished with a season-high four goals in a win over Southern for the Monarchs. She stayed as a consistent scorer Trinity Hall's winning streak with nine goals and four assists over the week.

Bianca Chiarella, Manasquan, Sr.

She's done it all for the Warriors when they began their season last week to get off to a 2-0 start. She leads the team in draw controls with 14, 10 ground balls, and ties at the top with four goals.

Conley Smolokoff, Shore, Sr.

The midfielder showed up big in all four games last week for the Blue Devils. Her biggest game was when she finished with a season-high five goals in a win over Red Bank Regional on Thursday.

Karlie Ruland, Red Bank Regional, So.

Over the weekend the midfielder had a season-high six assists to go with her three goals in a 15-5 win over Old Ridge for the Bucs.

Emilia Ercolino, Barnegat, Jr.

At the attack position she was able to score 10 goals in the past three games that were all for wins last week. Her season-high was four goals in a win over Ocean Township.

Grace Crowley, Toms River East, Jr.

She scored five goals in each of the past three games TRE has had which were all for wins. She's also picked up 17 ground balls and won 10 draw controls.

Aryelle Stein, Manalapan, Fr.

The freshman midfielder has proven to be an added boost to the teams offense last week when she scored nine goals in three games.

Alexandria Hede, Marlboro, Sr.

The midfielder went off for eight goals in a win over Colts Neck on Monday. She also had three goals and two assists in a win against Brick Memorial on Thursday.

Jenifer Ariza, Long Branch, Sr.

The midfielder had two goals, one assist, six ground ball and won three draw controls in a victory over Manchester Township on Thursday.

Gianna Rao, Donovan Catholic, Sr.

At the attack position she scored a goal and had three ground balls in a victory over St. John Vianney.

Sophia Devaney, Jackson Memorial, Sr.

The midfielder had six goals in a win over Monmouth on Monday and had seven goals over Brick Township on Friday.

Isabella Acevedo-Feldman, Howell, Jr.

In a loss to Point Pleasant Boro, she was the only one on the team score in the 8-5 loss. She had four goals in a win over St. Rose on Saturday.

Lily Scalabrini, Point Pleasant Boro, So.

She had three goals in a win over St. Rose Friday at the attack position.

Madeline Krohn, Toms River South, Jr.

At the attack position, she led the team in scoring with three goals in a win over Jackson Memorial on Tuesday.
