See the 82 athletes from northeastern South Dakota competing in winter college sports

Eighty-two former area high school athletic standouts are competing this winter for college teams in nine states.

The list was compiled by visiting college athletic web sites. Our apologies if we've missed somebody, but just let us know and we'll add them to our list (sports@thepublicopinion.com).

Here is the list of area athletes competing on the college teams that have opened their 2023-24 winter seasons:

South Dakota
