Schedule for Lakers vs. Grizzlies playoff series has been released
For the last two months, the Los Angeles Lakers have been playing in games that had postseason implications almost on a regular basis. Those games culminated with Tuesday’s slugfest with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in tournament, where LeBron James and crew overcame a 15-point third-quarter deficit to win 108-102 in overtime.
The Lakers looked tired at times during the last few weeks, but now they will get some much-needed rest before they begin their series against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday in the NBA Playoffs.
The schedule for the entire series has been released, and it will also give L.A. a decent amount of rest during the actual series.
After the play-in, the Lakers just got done playing 8 games in 14 days. With this schedule, they will play 4 games over the next 13 days. Some much needed days off for a team that has been playing high-stakes games for 6+ weeks. pic.twitter.com/lKwdgAuW35

The team will have four full days off before tip-off at 12 p.m. Los Angeles time on Sunday. It will then have two full days of rest before not only Game 2 but Game 3 as well.
That rest will come particularly in handy for James and Anthony Davis, both of whom are continuing to nurse lingering foot injuries.
