HARTLAND - The Pirates held a one-point lead at halftime over the Warhawks but could not keep up with them in the second half of the nonconference loss.

Bay Port, which shot 48% in the first half, cooled off considerably in the second half, making just 25% of its shots.

Arrowhead, meanwhile, shot 48% in the first half and 59% in the second half.

Blake Buchinger led Bay Port with 18 points. Connor Gering added 15.

Jace Gilbert led Arrowhead with 22 points. Bennett Basich and Sam Leoni both scored 21 points.

FOND DU LAC - The Warbirds took a 1-0 lead in the first period and never trailed in the win over the Stars.

Abby Waara and Allison Waara scored the Warbirds’ first two goals. Fox Cities found the back of the net on a second-period goal by Lyla Cooke with Margaret Thomas assisting.

Josie Kooima then made it 3-1 with Allison Waara adding a pair of third-period goals for the Warbirds.

Teagan Wilkins had nine saves in goal for Fox Cities. Emma Jillig and Lauren Grass combined for 18 saves for the Warbirds.

STEVENS POINT - Ryker Thomas scored in the first period and Joseph Coghlin scored in the third period for the Tritons in the tie with the Panthers.

Coghlin and Flanigan had assists for Notre Dame.

Tritons goalie Lleyton Jaschke made 31 saves.

BROOKFIELD - The Stars took a 4-0 lead in the first period and cruised to the win over the Rockets.

NHM scored its two goals in the third period after Brookfield had built its lead to 6-0.

Cartyr Simonson and Chase Collins scored for the Rockets. Ben Carey and Mark Sutton had assists.

Brookfield outshot NHM 34-21.

John Horneck had 28 saves for the Rockets. Augustus Jones had 19 saves for Brookfield.

Marquette 6, De Pere 3

DE PERE - The Hilltoppers outscored the Voyageurs 2-1 in each period for the win.

De Pere got its goals from Theodore Matheson in the first period, Max Greenya in the second period and Gabe Foth in the third period.

Greenya, Grant Butrymowicz, Landon Smith and Gavin Stueber had assists for De Pere.

Keegan Kowalke had a pair of goals for Marquette. Ollie Fetherston, Murphy Monreal, Luke Lowe and Nevan Kearney accounted for Marquette’s other goals.

Keegan Handrick had 25 saves for De Pere. Mack Langermann had 15 saves for Marquette.
