How Luke List won 5-man playoff at 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship for 2nd PGA Tour win
The Sanderson Farms Championship headed to a playoff at the Country Club of Jackson, and Luke List emerged victories.
Third-round leader Ben Griffin missed a 10-foot par putt on the 18th hole that would have given him the victory.
Instead, List, Griffin, Scott Stallings, Henrik Norlander, and Ludvig Aberg played extra holes for the title. Carl Yuan could have joined them but missed an 18-foot par putt on the final hole of regulation after coming up short of the green.
Griffin hit only 3 of 14 fairways during regulation, and bogeyed two of his last three holes.
Here's how the players fared in the playoff, in order of putts on the No. 18 green:
Ludvig Aberg
Aberg was the farthest away with his birdie try and he left it a few feet to the left of the pin from 53 feet, 5 inches.
Luke List
List drained his birdie putt, learning from the line of Aberg, from 44 feet, 10 inches away.
Ben Griffin
Griffin had a 32-foot putt from a similar line as Aberg's and List's, but was short and left.
Scott Stallings
Stallings putted from off the green from 33 feet, 2 inches, and also left it to the left of the pin.
Henrik Norlander
Norland raced his 17-foot, 8-inch putt well past the hole from off the green. And Luke List wins it.
