The Rush: Suns take 2-0 NBA Finals lead over Bucks behind Booker

MIKE BREEN: Here's Chris Paul. Off-balance shot's good, and the foul! Surrounded by defenders, and a chance for a 3-point play.

JARED QUAY: The Milwaukee Bucks couldn't take advantage of Giannis going Superman, dropping 42 points on a bum leg. As they lost game 2 to the Suns, 118 to 108. The Suns are now up 2-0 in the Finals thanks in part to Devin Booker hitting shots like these on his way to 31 points.

MIKE BREEN: Got it!

JARED QUAY: Doesn't hurt that Monty Williams is channeling his inner Coach Carter either.

MONTY WILLIAMS: One, we're getting back in transition. You don't have Giannis-- find a man and be a guard. Two, look at me.

JARED QUAY: It's looking all gravy for Phoenix as they sink their first ship ever. The Olympics usually have enough drama all on their own. But later this month, the Tokyo Olympics will take place during a state of emergency.

- Sound the alarm! Sound the alarm!

JARED QUAY: And there will be no fans.

[CRICKETS]

Why? You know why. COVID cases are exploding in Japan. And the state of emergency is expected to last until August 22. This all happened hours after the Olympic organizers stated that fans would be able to go to games. Could you imagine an opening ceremony with no fans? What are you waving at? It's like imagining a women's 100-meter race with no Sha'Carri Richardson.

If only the Olympics committee would follow Nevada's lead. Sometimes Vegas gets it right. The Nevada State Athletic Commission stated that there will be no punishment for boxers and MMA fighters who test positive for marijuana.

- Adventure awaits! Huzzah!

JARED QUAY: Before this decision, fighters could be fined and suspended for up to nine months if they tested positive for weed. Testing for cannabis will continue into 2022, but it's for research purposes.

- Research purposes.

JARED QUAY: If you ask me, the Olympic podium of athletic weed smokers are bronze medal, Ricky Williams, silver medal, Michael Phelps, and taking home the gold is Nate Newton. You may not know Nate Newton, but Nate Newton got caught with 213 pounds of marijuana. It's a lot of weed. His [INAUDIBLE] obviously is Josh Gordon. Long story short, let Sha'Carri run. We all want to see it.
