- 1 strike. In the air, centerfield. Correa's watching. This is back! And it's gone! It's a walk-off homerun! Carlos Correa! Astros win!

[CHEERING]

JARED QUAY: Yeah. That's the face you make when you haven't been able to take out the trash yet. Come on, Rays.

- Enough! It's time to take out the trash.

JARED QUAY: The Astros won Game 5 of the ALCS, after a walk-off Carlos Correa homerun to take the win, 4 to 3 against the Tampa Bay Rays-- and somehow are still alive after being down 3-0 in this series. If the 'Stros can come back and force Game 7 and win, that would be the most 2020 thing yet.

Over in the National League, the Dodgers really could've used some of those runs from Game 3, 'cause they lost Game 4 to the Braves. LA had ace Clayton Kershaw back on the mound. And his back seemed fine. The only spasm was with those pitches.

[FORCED LAUGH]

The Dodgers are gonna need to conjure some of that Game 3 pop if they want to stick around. In the NFL, the rich got richer because free agent running back Le'Veon Bell signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.

- What?

JARED QUAY: Yeah, like the Chiefs needed any more help. Bell was allegedly deciding between the Chiefs, the Dolphins, and the Bills. But props to him for turning down the opportunity to play the Jets and Adam Gase twice a year and instead go to KC and chase the ring. If you thought news around the NBA was gonna die down because the season was over, well you thought wrong.

- Wrong, so wrong.

JARED QUAY: Tyronn Lue signed a five-year contract to coach the LA Clippers. He'll now be tasked with trying to get the Clippers to the Finals. And in order to do that, he'll have to get past his own Cleveland superstar, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

- Good luck with that.

JARED QUAY: LeBron's sidekick Anthony Davis is planning to opt out of his $28.7 million option. But he's reportedly gonna sign back with the Lakers on a five-year $202 million deal. And any smart GM would make that deal in a heartbeat.

- That is a great deal!

JARED QUAY: Over in Houston, Daryl Morey stepped down as Houston's GM after 13 years of wheeling and dealing. So let me get this right. Daryl really traded for black hole Russell Westbrook, then traded away anyone over 7 foot on his team, and now we're gonna walk away?

- It's probably for the best.

JARED QUAY: Maybe he can join Dwyane Wade for long walks on the beach, while also photo-bombing engagement photos. Yeah, Daryl would fit in right over there. Hopefully he'll remember to bring his mask though, 'cause people keep forgetting COVID's still out there. Dwyane, what you doing, baby?
