LIZ LOZA: And that is a wrap on the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. We had some big surprises-- what's up, Green Bay? And some chalk picks-- obviously, Cincinnati. But I think from a fantasy perspective, it was the wide receivers who, as expected, garnered the most attention. And, interestingly, I think it's two of the-- two of the highest floor, safest, if you will, prospects, who will make the most immediate fantasy impact.

Jerry Jeudy, the most polished route runner in this year's class, a technician out of Alabama, lands in Denver. He'll be paired with Courtland Sutton. I think he could have a 60-ish catch season. I also think that Justin Jefferson, the sure-handed slot man out of LSU, landing in Minnesota is massive. He could have a 60-plus catch season, filling the void left by Stefon Diggs.

Now, Henry Ruggs, the speedster, the fastest wide receiver in this year's class, the first wide receiver off the board, a vintage Raiders' pick. You know, it's interesting, the Raiders move from Oakland to Vegas, but are still totally on-brand. And I think Ruggs, though, despite an explosive skill set, isn't going to produce for fantasy managers on a consistent enough basis. Similarly, another on-brand brand pick, Brandon Aiyuk, going to Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers. I mean, nobody likes YAC more than Kyle Shanahan, but, again, I don't think he's going to have the consistency to really provide for fantasy managers.

I don't even think he can really draft him. Finally, Jalen Reagor, a player with incredible play speed, lands in Philadelphia. He's got a great gadget ability, huge athletic ceiling. But I think he's going to struggle for target, so really won't make enough of an immediate impact for fantasy managers. Still, wide receivers having themselves a day on day one.
