Rockwall, Heath are tied for first place in girls 10-6A soccer
Feb. 9—Rockwall and Rockwall-Heath are tied for first place in the girls District 10-6A soccer race at 4-0.
Rockwall beat Tyler Legacy 5-1 on Tuesday.
Juliette Rayo scored two goals for Rockwall, which collected one each from Morgan Countryman, Iriana Sarpy and Ayla Garcia.
Heath beat Royse City 3-2 on Tuesday night.
Heath is to play at home on Friday against Tyler Legacy while Rockwall is at Royse City.
The Heath Hawks are 2-0-2 and tied with Tyler Legacy for first place in the District 10-6A boys race after Heath tied with Royse City 1-1 on Tuesday night.
Legacy tied 1-1 with Rockwall, which is now 1-2-1 in district play. The Yellowjackets are tied with Royse City for fifth place.
Elliott Clement scored for Rockwall against Legacy.
Royse City is to play at Rockwall on Friday and Heath is to play at Tyler Legacy.
