The road to TD Garden: MIAA announces high school girls hockey state tournament field

The MIAA released the pairings for the high school hockey and basketball tournaments on Saturday.

The South Shore, as it usually is, will be well represented in the girls hockey field with 14 teams in the two state tournaments.

Duxbury is the defending Division 2 state champion. The Dragons defeated Canton, 5-2, in last year's final. Notre Dame Academy and Archbishop Williams were state semifinalists last year.

The finals are scheduled for Sunday, March 17 at TD Garden.
