Report: Wes Welker probably won't play until the postseason

The Denver Broncos could be without receier Wes Welker for the final two games of the regular season.

According to a report from ESPN, Welker will probably stay sidelined until the playoffs, due to a concussion sustained two weeks ago.

It's the second concussion Welker's had during the 2013 season.

The Broncos were upset by San Diego last Thursday without Welker generating attention in the slot position. There could be some conern that without Welker available, the Denver offense can't be as productive in the passing game.

But the Broncos have already clinched a playoff berth, so getting Welker back then will be the priority. At the same time, they need to keep winning to hold off the Kansas City Chiefs from claiming the AFC West.
