One of the exploratory conversations that surfaced, via ESPN, was a trade-up scenario involving Kuminga. From my understanding, that was an inbound call from a team in the lottery that has registered regular interest in Kuminga dating back a year. Multiple team sources have been adamant that the Warriors aren’t shopping Kuminga around.

Jonathan Givony of ESPN recently reported that the Warriors were exploring options to acquire a high pick in Thursday’s draft for Kuminga.

During his second season in the league, the 20-year-old athletic forward averaged 9.9 points on 52.5% shooting from the floor with 3.4 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per contest.

Despite a strong final stretch in the regular season, Kuminga fell out of the rotation in the playoffs, playing in just 10 games, averaging 10 games, averaging 3.4 points on 54.2% shooting from the field in 6.1 minutes per game.
