Report: 5 teams called 49ers trying to trade for Nick Bosa
Nick Bosa will suit up for the 49ers on Sunday vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers, but there were several NFL clubs trying to make sure that didn’t happen.
Fox’s Jay Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday that five teams called the 49ers during Bosa’s holdout to inquire about potentially trading for the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. Glazer reported every team had “the door slammed in their face.”
49ers general manager was asked in the final days of Bosa’s holdout whether the team was exploring a trade, and Lynch flatly denied it.
Bosa and the 49ers will take on the Steelers on Sunday at 10:00am Pacific Time.
