Recent post-graduate camp attendee Jeremiah McCrimmon commits to Buffs

Another JUCO offensive tackle who attended Colorado’s post-graduate prospect camp in May has committed to the Buffs.

Much like Gavin Layton, who announced his CU pledge on June 30, former Coahoma Community College (Mississippi) OT Jeremiah McCrimmon also earned the respect of offensive line coach Bill O’Boyle during the camp and announced his commitment on Monday.

McCrimmon drove about halfway across the country from North Carolina to attend the post-graduate camp in Boulder, but it soon became well worth the effort (h/t BuffStampede):

“I got really comfortable with Coach O’Boyle as I talked to him more and more at the camp,” McCrimmon told BuffStampede. “And after the camp, he was the one that offered me. He was like, ‘Man, we want you. We want you to play for us this fall.’ I really loved Colorado. Out of all the schools I’ve been to, Colorado campus is the most beautiful. Everything out there looks so natural, not man-made vibes like most places. It’s hard to explain, but it’s beautiful.”

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound tackle was a preferred walk-on at Mississippi State in 2021 before making the move to Coahoma for his second-year freshman season last fall.

As of late June, Colorado was the only Division I offer that he owned.
