Recap: No. 14 Stanford wins the Big Spike over California to open Pac-12 competition

Cal took the first set 26-24 thanks to strong play from Mima Mirkovic, who led the Golden Bears with 14 kills. But the Cardinal then won three straight sets to take the match and improve to 6-3 on the season. Sami Francis was the star for the Cardinal, recording a personal-best 19 kills in the triumph.
