Real Madrid 2-1 (4-3 agg.) Bayern Munich: Joselu the hero in stunning finish

All eyes were on Harry Kane, but it was another ex-Premier League striker — Joselu — who scored twice in the final minutes to send Real Madrid past Bayern Munich and into the UEFA Champions League Final.

Bayern led 3-2 on aggregate on an Alphonso Davies goal assisted by Kane when Joselu buried 88th- and 90th-minute goals to send Real back to the final.

The Bavarians thought they might've leveled deep in stoppage time but the whistle had blown for offside — which may have not been — before Matthijs de Ligt lashed home!

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich final score: 2-1 (4-3 aggregate)

Goalscorers: Davies (68'), Joselu (88', 90')

Massive controversy! Bayern level deep in stoppage but NO REVIEW

Matthijs de Ligt has the ball in the goal 10 minutes into stoppage time but the whistle had already blown for offside.

But were Bayern offside on the initial ball? Replays say perhaps not! But it won't matter!

Joselu again!!! Real Madrid 2-1 (4-3 agg) Bayern Munich (90th minute)

Initially called offside, VAR has a look at Joselu's second goal in three minutes and it's going to stand!

The former Stoke City and Newcastle striker has come off the bench to deliver a brace at the Bernabeu in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal.

Madrid magic from the Galician.

Joselu goal! Real Madrid 2-1 (3-3 agg) Bayern Munich (88th minute)

Vini hammers a bouncing shot at Neuer, and the otherwise-perfect keeper can't hold onto it.

Joselu follows the ball to the goal and snaps in the rebound. 1-1!

VAR review after Real Madrid goal (video)

Real Madrid are level, but wait!

A shot through traffic off a corner kick takes a wicked turn to beat Neuer.

But wait — Real back Nacho Fernandez puts both his hands on Kimmich's face and shoves him in the build-up.

The ball goes through the gap made by the grass-attached Kimmich, and VAR calls Szymon Marciniak to the screen.

He's called the foul and the goal will not stand.

Oh Canada! Alphonso Davies goal! Real Madrid 0-1 (2-3 agg) Bayern Munich (68th minute)

Harry Kane releases Alphonso Davies like he did Heung-min Son so many times at Spurs.

Davies later works his way inside and smashes a line drive beyond the reach of Lunin.

Bayern, against the run of play, lead.

Rodrygo free kick saved, then Vini drive, too.

Bellingham wins a free kick off Laimer and it's a dangerous angle and distance.

Rodrygo sweeps a hard effort over the wall and it's Neuer's flying hand that gets in the way of a first goal.

Vini Jr's at it again a minute later, cutting inside and lacing a shot across goal that Neuer reacts well to save for a corner kick.

Bayern deny that, and it's 0-0 just after the hour mark.

Close at both ends!

Konrad Laimer releases Harry Kane into the box, but the ex-Spurs man is walled off on the left and has to try short side. Andriy Lunin makes the save.

Real break the other way and Vinicius Jr's cross is redirected by Rodrygo... just wide of the post.

No subs at the break

Real have been the better attacking side and have held the ball, but Bayern have stayed a part of this and will like its chances of finding chances.

Vini Jr beats Joshua Kimmich and wins a corner.

Neuer again!

Vini Jr sends a delicious cross through the box.

Rodrygo looks poised to redirect it but lets it go, and now Neuer has to act quick to slap it away from the far post.

38-year-old but reacting like a man half his age with twice the wisdom.

Chances at a premium

Five total shot attempts and four of them have come off the feet of Real Madrid.

Serge Gnabry comes off after 27 minutes and Alphonso Davies takes his place.

Manuel Neuer double save!

There were just two close calls, one a-piece, in the first dozen minutes, but the hosts had a huge opportunity in the 13th minute.

Bayern living legend Manuel Neuer palms a Rodrygo shot onto the post, then somehow manages to corral Vinicius Junior's point-blank rebound.

Wow.

Real Madrid focus, team news

Real Madrid is healthy aside from David Alaba's long-term absence as well as a small injury that could affect midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, who was an unused sub at the weekend.

Bellingham and Vini Jr have combined for 30 league goals, while Rodrygo’s chipped in 10 and has shown a knack for big-game heroics.

Bayern Munich focus, team news

Harry Kane has been sensational at center forward, his Bundesliga haul now sitting at 36 goals and eight assists this season. He has 13 more goal contributions than anyone else in the division (RB Leipzig's Lois Openda is second).

Bayern’s long-term injuries include Bouna Sarr, Sacha Boey, Kingsley Coman, and Tarek Buchmann, while there are questions about the status for Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt. Raphael Guerreiro.is definitely out, while also limping off at the weekend was Eric Dier.
