Ravens rip Texans to gain AFC Championship Game

The Baltimore Ravens had the Houston Texans’ number this season. The same could be said about most of their opponents.

The Ravens erupted in the second half for 24 unanswered points en route to a 34-10 victory on Saturday over the Texans.

The Ravens advance to the AFC Championship Game. They will play the winner of Sunday’s contest between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

The Texans exit the playoffs after a surprising season. They remain the lone team not to play in a conference championship game or to win a road playoff game.

Baltimore played Houston twice in this campaign. The Ravens did not allow an offensive touchdown to the Texans, giving up a punt return to Steven Sims in the Divisional Round game and four field goals over 120 minutes.

The overall damage on the scoreboard was 59-19.

Lamar Jackson was at his likely MVP best. He threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for a couple. He rushed for 100 yards in a magical performance.
