Ravens RB Justice Hill tears achilles, will miss entire 2021 season

The Baltimore Ravens saw running back J.K. Dobbins go down for the year with a torn ACL during their 37-3 preseason win over the Washington Football Team. Now Baltimore is dealing with yet another season-ending injury to a rusher who was expected to be a solid contributor to their offense.

After missing a chunk of 2021 training camp and the preseason, running back Justice Hill made the final 53-man roster after Dobbins went down with his injury. However, Hill will now join his teammate on injured reserve as he tore his achilles in practice.

At this point, Hill is a loss for both the Ravens’ offense as well as their special teams unit. He is a versatile option out of the backfield, while also being a great gunner on special teams. While he hasn’t had the most success over his two years in the NFL, with an increased role he could have seen an increase in production.

Baltimore will now look to outside options for running back help, as the team is now left with two running backs on their roster in Gus Edwards and Ty’Son Williams.
