Ravens HC John Harbaugh discusses play of WR DeSean Jackson in Week 12 vs. Jaguars

The Baltimore Ravens suffered a 28-27 defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12. The loss moved Baltimore’s record to 7-4 on the year and snapped their five-game winning streak, also technically placing them into a tie for first place in the AFC North with the now 7-4 Cincinnati Bengals.

Despite the outcome of the game, there were plenty of players who contributed positively for the Ravens. One was wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who made two big catches in key situations for a total of 74 yards. When head coach John Harbaugh was asked about Jackson, he shared his thoughts on the plays, saying they were helpful for the team.

“Yes, it was great. He [DeSean Jackson] had a nice, deep out route, timing route, and Lamar [Jackson] threw a strike right on the sideline. It was a big chunk play for us. And then the deep over route, the line route, as we call it, that was a great play. It came open beautifully, [and] Lamar threw a strike. Those were helpful plays for us. So, if he can kind of keep coming like that, I think that will be helpful to us, big time.”
