Rangers announce 2023-2024 regular season schedule

The New York Rangers released the team’s 2023-2024 schedule on Tuesday ahead of the upcoming season.

The Blueshirts will open the season on Oct. 12 when they visit the Buffalo Sabres. The Rangers also move outdoors on Feb. 18 for a matchup against the Islanders at MetLife Stadium in the NHL Stadium Series.

New York plays on the road for nine of the first 12 games of the season before hosting six of the last eight games at home at Madison Square Garden.

Last season, the Rangers finished third in the Metropolitan Division with a 47-22-13 record and 107 points.

Preseason play also begins for New York on Sept. 24 in Boston against the Bruins.
