Rams reach NFL roster limit

The St. Louis Rams waived-injured offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe, shifted linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar and running back Isaiah Pead to the reserve-suspended list and brokered an injury settlement with offensive lineman Ryan Lee.

The Rams are at the 53-man roster limit after cutting wide receiver Emory Blake, defensive end Mason Brodine, linebacker-defensive end Sammy Brown, quarterback Austin Davis, safety Cody Davis, defensive tackle Garrett Goebel, safety Rashard Hall, offensive tackle Sean Hooey, linebacker Josh Hull, wide receiver Nick Johnson, tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen, cornerback Andre Martin, tight end Zach Potter, fullback Eric Stevens, cornerback Drew Thomas, wide receiver Justin Veltung, offensive tackle D.J. Young, defensive end R.J. Washington and cornerback Darren Woodard.

The Rams didn't appear to have many talented players among the cuts.
