Raiders CB Tyler Hall highest-graded player from Week 16

With the Raiders nearly out of playoff contention in the AFC, it’s time to start resting some of the starters and looking ahead to the 2023 season. One of the players that should see more snaps over the final two games is cornerback Tyler Hall.

Over the last few games, Hall has played a lot of snaps for the Raiders. And in each game, he’s performed well. But his best game of the season came against the Steelers on Christmas Eve.

According to Pro Football Focus, Hall allowed just nine yards on 26 coverage snaps on Saturday. He was targeted five times, allowing only two receptions. As a result, he was the team’s highest-graded player from Week 16.

Hall has bounced around the league some in his career, playing in Atlanta in 2020 and with the Rams in 2021. Before signing with the Raiders in 2022, he played a combined 172 snaps on defense in two seasons.

While Hall might not be a long-term answer for the Raiders, he is an intriguing prospect that could use an extended look over the final two games of the season.
