PREDICTIONS: Texas vs. Kansas and more

The Texas Longhorns (6-4) take on the host Kansas Jayhawks (6-4) on Saturday. The game is a toss-up in every sense.

Earlier this week, we noted advanced stats that had very little separating the two teams. Given the Longhorns’ difficulty maximizing opportunities in big moments, a close road game against Lance Leipold is suboptimal for Texas.

Steve Sarkisian’s squad hopes to get help in the Big 12 title race on Saturday. The Longhorns two rivals for the No. 2 spot in the conference also will have tough battles.

Oklahoma State will face Oklahoma in the rivalry commonly known as Bedlam. Albeit, this time Texas fans will be rooting for the Sooners. The Oklahoma State Cowboys hold the tiebreaker following their head-to-head victory over the Longhorns.

Kansas State will travel to West Virginia one week after the Mountaineers upset the Sooners.

Let’s examine how this weekend could unfold.
