Postseason Superstars! Check out the best performances from the first week of spring playoffs

The playoffs are underway, and we're seeing some of the most impressive performances of the year when the pressure is the highest.

Check out the top performances from the early rounds of district lacrosse, volleyball, track and the Catholic League softball tournaments. Then, be sure to cast your vote for the Playoff Performers of the Week.

Top Playoff Performances in Boys Volleyball:

Matt LaBouliere, CB East: LaBouliere filled up the stat sheet with 31 kills, 25 assists, five blocks, nine digs and a pair of aces to help the eighth-seeded Titans edge ninth-seeded Unionville in five sets in the first round of the District One Class 3A tournament.

John Nice, Neshaminy: Nice tallied 14 kills, eight digs and one ace in seventh-seeded Neshaminy’s sweep of No. 10 Kennet in the first round.

El-Mansur Sagalive, Neshaminy: Sagalive dished out 31 assists and also contributed four digs and two blocks in Neshaminy’s first-round win over Kennett. He had 28 assists in a quarterfinal loss to Pennridge.

Anthony Buono, William Tennent: Buono powered the defense with 16 digs to lead sixth-seeded Panthers to a first-round 3-0 win over Souderton. He contributed another 16 digs in the Panthers' 3-0 quarterfinal win against Bensalem.

Connor Tucholski, William Tennent: Tucholski posted 14 kills to power the six-seeded Panthers to an upset of third-seeded Bensalem in the quarterfinals. He contributed nine kills and two blocks in the Panthers’ first-round victory.

Nick Buono, William Tennent: The Panthers’ setter dished out 33 assists in their quarterfinal victory over Bensalem, following his 33-assist game in the first round. He also had five digs in the win.

Jude Rotondo, Pennridge: Rotondo delivered 17 kills, seven digs and three aces as the Rams topped Neshaminy 3-1 to advance to the District One Class 3A semifinals.

Evan Jalosinski, Pennridge: Jalosinski handed out 42 assists to help the No. 2 Rams edge seventh-seeded Neshaminy 3-1 in the District One Class 3A quarterfinals.

Top Playoff Performances in Girls Lacrosse:

Reagan Cummins, Upper Moreland: Cummins scored six goals and assisted on another as the Golden Bears cruised into the District One 2A quarterfinals with a 16-1 victory over Interboro.

Addi Hurley, Upper Moreland: The Golden Bears’ goalie recorded seven saves and gave up just one goal in their first-round win over Interboro.

Molly Hawkins, Pennridge: Hawkins, who had been playing on the jv team, stepped into net for injured goalie Anajali Verman and turned away 12 shots on goal in an exceptional performance in the Rams’ 13-6 win over Methacton in the first-round of District One 3A.

Ava Fantaskey, Pennridge: Fantaskey led the offense with three goals and two assists, and also contributed two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the Rams’ first-round win over Methacton.

Mia Popovich, Pennsbury: Popovich scored the go-ahead goal to secure an 11-10 win for the 10th-seeded Falcons over No. 11 Ridley in the first round of the 3A playoffs. Popovich, who scored the eventual game-winner with four minutes to go, finished with three goals and one assist.

Olivia Graebner, Pennsbury: Graebner led the offense with five goals and one assist in Pennsbury’s first-round victory over Ridley. She scored her 100th goal in the Falcons’ second-round game, leading the offense with three goals and three assists though Downingtown West came away with the win.

Kayla Stressman, North Penn: Stressman led the Knights with three goals, three assists and six draw controls in their 11-6 first-round win over Upper Merion.

Keira Trainer, Lansdale Catholic: The Crusaders’ goalie Keira recorded her 100th save of the season as she finished the game with 108 saves and a 21-6 win over Archbishop Ryan in the first round of the PCL playoffs. The senior captain, who previously played attack, also earned the distinction of being the only player in the Catholic League to reach both 100 saves and 100 points.

Tess Waltrich, Archbishop Wood: Waltrich tallied three goals and three assists, netting her 100th career goal along the way, in the Vikings’ 15-11 win over Bonner-Prendergast in the first-round of the PCL playoffs. She also contributed six draw controls.

Madysin Woertz, Archbishop Wood: Woertz scored four goals for the Vikings in their first-round win over Bonner-Prendergast.

Top Playoff Performances in Boys Lacrosse:

Max Wickersham, La Salle: Wickersham led the offense with three goals as the Explorers topped St. Joseph's Prep 6-3 to earn their seventh straight Catholic League championship.

Matt Nelson, La Salle: Nelson recorded 10 saves and held St. Joe’s Prep to three goals to help secure the PCL title for the Explorers.

Zach Borden, Council Rock North: The Indians’ goalie recorded 21 saves to help the Indians edge Downingtown West 13-12 in the first round of the District One Class 3A playoffs.

Sam Lewis, Council Rock North: Lewis’ huge game, which included seven goals and two assists, led the Indians to their first district playoff win with a 12-11 first-round victory over Downingtown West.

Tyler Vandermark, Pennridge: The Rams’ goalie had a busy and productive night in net against Ridley in the second round of the District One Class 3A playoffs. Vandermark made 23 saves, including two crucial ones in the final minutes, to hold off a determined Ridley and secure the 12-10 win for the No. 3 Rams.

Jack Kennedy, Lansdale Catholic: The Crusaders’ goalie turned away 18 shots on goal, recording his 500th career save in the process, in a 17-4 win over Cardinal O’Hara in the first round of the PCL playoffs.

Caleb Moister, Lansdale Catholic: Moister scored five goals in the Crusaders first-round victory over Cardinal O’Hara in the PCL playoffs.

Top Performances in PCL, PAISAA Softball

Dakota Fanelli, Archbishop Wood: The Vikings’ ace pitched a six-hit, 13-strikeout shutout in a complete-game 4-0 win against Cardinal O’Hara in the opening round of the PCL playoffs

Riley Nolan, Archbishop Wood: Nolan was 3-for-3 with one RBI in the Vikings’ first-round win over Cardinal O’Hara. She scored the Vikings’ lone run in the PCL 2-1 semifinal loss, executing a steal of home to give Wood the first lead of the game.

Nicole Trakies, Lansdale Catholic: Trakies was the hero in the Crusaders’ extra-inning, first-round win over Carroll. With the game tied and two outs in the bottom of the eighth, Trakies hit a line-drive RBI single to give the Crusaders the walk-off 5-4 win. She finished 3-for-5.

Ahlana Sesar, Conwell-Egan: Sesar gave up just hits in five-inning shutout of Lansdale Catholic in the PCL semifinals. She also hit a two-run double in the 12-0 triumph.

Katey Brennan, Conwell-Egan: Brennan crushed a three-run home run to right field in the first inning of the Eagles’ 12-0 PCL semifinal win.

Clarissa Smith, Germantown Academy: Smith went five innings without giving up a hit and struck out eight in the Patriots’ 12-1 victory over Mercersburg Academy in the first-round of the PAISAA playoffs.

Zoey Clark, Germantown Academy: Clark went 2-for-3 with a home run, double, three RBIs and three runs scored in the Patriots’ first-round win over Mercersburg.

Top Performances in Girls District Track & Field Championships

Paige Casterline, Palisades: Casterline was a three-time medal-winner at the District XI Class 2A championships. She finished second in the girls high jump (5-4), third in the long jump (17-1.5) and third in the triple jump (34-6.5).

Aimee Oszer, George School: Oszer took home two gold medals at the PAISAA Championships. She won the girls discus (111-2) as well as the shot put (36-7.75), and finished third in the javelin (99-7).

Meaghan Garlick, Lansdale Catholic: Garlick won the girls high jump, clearing 5-0, at the District 12 Class 3A Championships.

Gwen Hamilton, Archbishop Wood: The freshman had a huge day at the District 12 2A Championships, taking home two golds. She finished first in both the girls 800-meter run (2:10.93) and the 1,600-meter (5:07.84).

Angelisse Cantiello, Bristol: She was the winner of the girls high jump with her 16-0.75 jump at the District One Class 2A championships, and finished third in the 100-meter hurdles (17.12).

Bobby Jo Dodds, Dock Mennonite: Dodds led the field in the hurdles, winning both the girls 100-meter (16.43) and 300-meter hurdles (47.28) at the District One 2A championships.

Mia Rivera, CB East: She was the winner of the girls javelin (128-7) at the District One Class 3A championships.

Mimi Duffy, CB West: The junior took first place in the girls 400-meter dash, crossing the finish line at 55.23, at the District One 3A championships.

Jael Sykes, North Penn: The senior took first place in the girls 100-meter dash with a time of 12.06 at the District One 3A championships.

Top Performances in Boys District Track & Field Championships

Thomas Smigo, Palisades: The senior Lehigh University-commit added to an impressive resume at the District XI Class 2A Track & Field Championships. Smigo took first place in the boys 1,600-meter run, and his time of 4:18.18 set a new meet record. Smigo also won the 3,200-meter, clocking in at 9:37.54, and finished fourth in the 800-meter (2:01.45).

Evan Badami, Germantown Academy: The freshman was the winner of the boys 400-meter dash, finishing in 49.72 at the PAISAA Championships.

Drew Brill, La Salle: The senior won the boys 3,200-meter run with a time of 9:24.39 at the District 12 Class 3A championships.

Ryan McGinley, La Salle: McGinley was the winner of the boys 1,600-meter run, crossing the finish line in 4:19.10, at the District 12 3A championships.

Jacahi Streeter, Lansdale Catholic: Streeter won the boys 100-meter dash with a time of 11.30 at the District 12 Class 2A championships.

Jared Hess, Pennridge: Hess won the boys triple jump (46-2.5) and finished third in the long jump (21-9) at the District One Class 3A championships.

Robert Walton, Bensalem: Walton won the boys 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.78 at the District One 3A championships.

Zyan Greene, Bensalem: Greene was the winner of the boys 400-meter dash with a time of 47.88, and he finished fifth in the 200-meter dash (21.76) at the District One 3A championships.

Colin Graham, Upper Moreland: The senior won the boys high jump, clearing 6-5, at the District One 3A championships.

Jacob Tannenbaum, CB East: His discus throw of 158-9 was good for first place in the District One 3A championships.

Lucas Knappenberger, CB South: He took home gold at the District One 3A championships by winning the boys pole vault (13-6).

Conor McFadden, CB West: The junior won the boys 200-meter dash with a time of 21.47 at the District One 3A championships.

Brian DiCola, Hatboro-Horsham: The senior Penn State commit won both the boys 1,600-meter (4:14.78) and the 3,200-meter run (9:09.03) at the District One 3A championships.
