Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands high school football Players of the Week Poll. High school sports fans can vote for which football athletes they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Monday through Sunday. The winners will be announced every Monday along with the new poll.

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week’s Players of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Ferreira is the first player to win the poll three times this season with 52% of the votes. He threw for 142 yards and one touchdown, while adding another score on the ground in a playoff loss to Hudson.

Barber completed 18-of-28 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns in a loss to Sandwich.

Ferreira had 85 yards rushing for two touchdowns, and added a passing touchdown as well for the Blue Knights 35-22 win over Dennis-Yarmouth.
