Player grades: DeRozan, Bulls outlast Giannis, Bucks in overtime

The Chicago Bulls outlasted the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night in an overtime victory, 119-113, to give the Bucks their fourth-straight loss.

Chicago rallied from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime on a DeMar DeRozan steal on an inbounds pass, which led to the game-tying layup from Ayo Dosunmu.

DeRozan was dominant, finishing with a season-high 42 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks on 15-of-25 shooting from the floor and 12-of-14 from the free throe line.

Deebo went toe-to-toe with Giannis Antetokounmpo all night long, who finished with 45 points, 22 rebounds, and seven assists. In overtime, DeRozan scored 10 of the Bulls’ 13 points while Antetokounmpo shot 1-of-8 in the extra period.

DeMar DeRozan: A+

DeMar DeRozan put on a show in Wednesday’s win, scoring a season-high 42 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks on 15-of-25 shooting from the floor and 12-of-14 from the free throe line. Deebo scored 10 points in overtime to lead Chicago to victory.

Zach LaVine: B+

Zach LaVine finished with 24 points, two rebounds, and four assists on 8-of-18 shooting from the floor and 4-of-7 from 3-point range. LaVine scored 14 of his 24 points in the second half.

Nikola Vucevic: A-

In Wednesday’s win, Nikola Vucevic finished with 15 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks on 5-of-12 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from downtown. Vooch had two key blocks in overtime to help clinch the victory.

Ayo Dosunmu: B

Ayo Dosunmu finished with six points, six rebounds, two assists, and one block in Wednesday’s win against the Bucks. Dosunmu hit the game-tying dunk to force overtime before DeRozan and the Bulls got the win in extra time.

Patrick Williams: B-

Patrick Williams finished with eight points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in the victory. Williams had the tough test of attempting to slow down Antetokounmpo on Wednesday but the Bulls got the win and that’s all that matters.

Goran Dragic: B

Goran Dragic played 20 minutes off the bench on Wednesday, finishing with 12 points, two rebounds, and one assist on 5-of-11 shooting from the field. Dragic scored all 12 of his points in the first half.

Andre Drummond: A-

Andre Drummond was effective in his 16 minutes against Milwaukee, finishing with seven points, 12 rebounds, one assist, two steals, and two blocks.
