Faith Odom got the ball rolling for the Bears with a leadoff home run that easily cleared the 225-foot fence in centerfield. The Bears would get two runners on base for Graidin Haas, who slapped the ball down the right field line for an inside-the-park homerun.

Madison Academy broke out to a two run lead in the third inning before adding one more run in the fourth. They retook the lead in the sixth inning with two more runs.
