Super Bowl Predictions: Season predictions from USA TODAY staff: Super Bowl 57, playoffs, MVP and more
Lorenzo Reyes: Bengals 23, Steelers 20
People make a big deal about the Super Bowl loser’s curse and there is some historical data to back that. I think the bigger thing is that Pittsburgh, in my opinion, has a notable upgrade at quarterback with Mitchell Trubisky over last year’s version of Ben Roethlisberger. Cincinnati is still young and should shake off the noise about a hangover, but I don’t think the Bengals cover that line.
Safid Deen: Bengals 27, Steelers 17
Joe Burrow and the defending AFC champion Bengals won’t be sneaking up on anybody this season. They’re still loaded and have what it takes to make another deep run this year. They’ll easily handle the Steelers, whose QB situation doesn’t excite me one bit.
Lance Pugmire: Bengals 27, Steelers 17
Defending AFC champion Cincinnati waxed the Steelers by a combined 65-20 in their division clashes last season, and now Mitchell Trubisky is Pittsburgh’s quarterback. Also intriguing to watch how the Bengals’ overhauled offensive line fares here.
Jarrett Bell: Steelers 26, Bengals 24
Nate Davis: Bengals 27, Steelers 23
Tyler Dragon: Bengals 28, Steelers 20
Parker Gabriel: Bengals 28, Steelers 21
Mike Jones: Bengals 28, Steelers 20
