The Phoenix Suns currently have a head coach in Frank Vogel, but speculation surrounding his future continues to swirl.
And that speculation has even reached the point where there are odds for the team's next coach and stories about potential candidates for the franchise's next coach, should it move on from Vogel, who has only coached the Suns for one season.
Many people think that Vogel could be out as Phoenix's coach very soon, judging by the speculation.
Who could be Vogel's replacement, should owner Mat Ishbia decide to fire the head coach?

Sports Illustrated: Mark Jackson a potential candidate for Phoenix Suns job
Liam McKeone listed three possible replacements for Frank Vogel, if the team should fire the coach, and had Redick and Budenholzer listed alongside another coach not mentioned in the odds above: Former Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson.
He wrote of Jackson: "Maybe the timing is finally just right for Jackson to get back into the coaching game. The former ESPN broadcaster has been linked to nearly every big head coaching gig since he lost his job with the Golden State Warriors. The big change, obviously, is that Jackson no longer has a day job after he was unexpectedly jettisoned by ESPN ahead of the 2023-24 season. Jackson's last job on the bench with the Warriors was marred by controversy and he was unable to make a deep postseason run with an ultimately dynastic roster led by Stephen Curry. Neither are strong selling points. But that was a decade ago at this point. Jackson is a big name with prior coaching experience, and he cannot be ruled out."

Sportskeeda: Adrian Griffin, Mike D'Antoni also possible Suns coach candidates
The site included Budenholzer, Redick and Jackson, then added former Bucks coach Adrian Griffin and former Suns coach Mike D'Antoni as other possibilities to coach the Suns in the event that the team needed a new head coach.
Of Griffin, Nandjee Ranjan wrote: "The firing of Adrian Griffin came as a surprise to the NBA world. Despite winning 70 games as a head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, Griffin was fired from his coaching jop. A lot of it has to do with his star players being unhappy with Griffin's defensive strategy. However, under Griffin, the Bucks were one of the best teams in the league in offense. And this is what perhaps the Suns need with their roster this season."

What about Mike D'Antoni as a Suns coach candidate?
Many on social media have speculated about Mike D'Antoni being a potential fit to return to the Suns, especially amid talk that current Phoenix stars were unhappy with the team's offense.
D'Antoni knows offense, but he is 72 years old.

Hire Mike D’Antoni and run a non stop offense…Suns defense trash regardless might as well optimize scoring https://t.co/n0FhPbKhVi

I feel like a D’Antoni/Suns reunion kinda makes sense with their roster. Vogel is a defensive coach and that team is built for pure offense.
