It's Phillies-Diamondbacks in Game 2 of the NLCS. Everything to know about tonight's game

The Phillies are three wins away from a return to the World Series, thanks to a thrilling 5-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondback in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series.

The Phillies and Diamondbacks resume their best-of-seven game series tonight at Citizens Bank Park. Here is everything you need to know for the game.

Starting pitchers for Game 2 of the NLCS; how to watch, listen

First pitch for Game 2 of the NLCS is 8:07 p.m.

The Phillies will send veteran righty Aaron Nola to the mound, opposing Diamondbacks righty Merrill Kelly.

TBS will broadcast Game 2 of the NLCS, with color commentators Brian Anderson, Ron Darling and Jeff Francoeur in the booth. Matt Winer will cover dugout/field reporting.

ESPN Radio will also carry game 2; 94 WIP and Spanish-language WTTM 1680 will carry local radio broadcasts.

Have tickets game 2 or otherwise hanging out? The National Weather Service in Mount Holly notes that temperatures for first pitch will be in the mid-50s with calm winds.

Two other sporting events complicate travel around Citizens Bank Park; SEPTA offering free rides

The Phillies-Diamondbacks game will add to a congested sports complex in South Philly, leading some major sports teams to alter their start times.

The Philadelphia Flyers will move up their home game against the Vancouver Canucks to 6 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center for the team's home opener.

The Flyers-Canucks game was originally scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

And the soccer match between Mexico and Germany at Lincoln Financial Field has been pushed back to 8 p.m. The match, part of the Mexican National Team U.S. Tour, had an original start time of 7:30 p.m.

Late Monday evening, SEPTA released a statement again urging fans to prepare for traffic congestion while offering free rides, both ways, on its Broad Street Line.

"Fans strongly encouraged to arrive early or take public transportation to all games and events," read a portion of SEPTA's statement. "SEPTA will be offering free rides on the Broad Street Line to and from NRG Station starting at 5 p.m. courtesy of Budweiser and Bud Light as part of Anheuser Busch's safe rides programs."

Phillies fan-friendly events begin at 10; Harper dreaming of '28 Olympics?

Aside from avoiding the impending traffic quagmire, there are many reasons for Phillies fans to get to Citizens Bank Park early.

The New Era Phillies team store on Citizens Bank Way opened at 10 a.m. and will remain open until 4:30 p.m.

Fans wanting to purchase Phillies' NLCS gear can pop over to the 40-foot merchandise trailer on Citizens Bank Way, which will open at 4:30 p.m.

That leads to the Phillies postseason block party, which begins at 5 p.m. on Citizens Bank Way.

No ticket is required to attend this nearly three-hour long block party, which will feature music by Go Go Gadjet and DJ HBK, a giant Ferris wheel, bungee jump, a mobile hitting station and face painters.

Gates at Citizen Banks Park open at 5:30 p.m. for game 2 of the NLCS. Fans will be given red rally towels.

Fans should be in their seats by 7:40 for the pregame on-field activities.

World Series champion and 1980 NLCS MVP Manny Trillo, and 1983 NL champion and NLCS MVP Gary “Sarge” Matthews, with toss ceremonial first pitches. The U.S. Army Herald Trumpets will perform the national anthem.

Madison Woods will sing "God Bless America" during the seventh-inning stretch.
