PGA Championship is sold out, but you still may be able to get tickets. Here's how

The PGA of America announced Monday morning that tickets to the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club are now sold out.

However, that doesn’t mean you still can’t get tickets. The PGA operates an official ticket exchange program where people who have already purchased tickets can sell them to prospective buyers, so there are still plenty of tickets available through that avenue.

The PGA of America estimates that 225,000 spectators will attend the second men’s major championship of 2023 across the seven days - three practice rounds and four competitive rounds - stretching from May 15-21. That would be the most people to ever attend a major event at Oak Hill.

One of the reasons for making more tickets available is because there is more room on the East Course to move people around now that hundreds of trees have been removed.

“There’s a reason we’ve continued to come back to Monroe County, and being able to say that tickets are officially sold out for the 2023 PGA Championship is a testament to that decision,” 2023 PGA Championship Director Bryan Karns said. “It’s a very good indicator that Rochester is a home for major championship golf, and Monroe County is the place you want to continue to come back to. Because of that support, I have no doubt it’s going to be an incredible week.”

The ticket exchange offers travel packages that include hotel accommodations, premium hospitality, transportation to the course and on-site concierge support.

For example, there are tickets available for the first round on Thursday, May 18 available with a starting price of $204. For the final round on Sunday, there are tickets available for $245.
