Panthers preseason inactives: CB Jaycee Horn making return to NFL playing field
It’s been 337 days for Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn—337 long days since he last played a snap in an NFL game. And luckily for the 22-year-old, that count will stop right there.
Horn is about reach the end of the comeback trail on Friday night, as wasn’t listed amongst the inactives for Carolina’s preseason contest against the Buffalo Bills. Last year’s eighth overall pick has been out of action since Sept. 23, 2021, when he sustained a season-ending foot injury in Week 3 of his rookie campaign.

He will join the bulk of his fellow Panthers starters, who are expected to see about a quarter’s worth of action in their final exhibition contest of 2022.
But here is who won’t be on that Bank of America Stadium turf to close out the summer:
WR Robbie Anderson
DE Amaré Barno
C Bradley Bozeman
RB Spencer Brown
S Sam Franklin Jr.
LB Isaiah Graham-Mobley
RB Christian McCaffrey
