Pair of Spartans to play in Reese’s Senior Bowl after season

Michigan State football will be sending a pair of its top players to the Reese’s Senior Bowl this year.

Wide receiver Jayden Reed and punter Bryce Baringer officially accepted their Reese’s Senior Bowl invitations on Wednesday. Reed and Baringer are two of the top Spartans on this year’s team and have a strong chance of making an NFL roster next year.

In nine games this year, Reed has 45 receptions for 548 yards and five touchdowns. He’s been battling injuries throughout the season but still remains one of Michigan State’s elite offensive weapons.

Baringer is considered one of the best punters nationally, averaging 49.6 yards per punt.
