Packers open as 11.5-point favorites over Bears in Week 14
No team is a bigger betting favorite to open Week 14 of the 2021 NFL season than the Green Bay Packers.
According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Packers are 11.5-point favorites over the Chicago Bears to open this week.
Matt LaFleur’s team is 9-3 and coming off the bye week. The Packers beat the Los Angeles Rams by eight points as a home underdog in Week 12. The Bears, meanwhile, have lost six of the last seven games, including Sunday’s 11-point loss to the Arizona Cardinals at Soldier Field.
Tipico set the over/under for Sunday night’s game at 44.5 points to open.
The Packers have been a great bet this season. In fact, Green Bay has covered the spread in 10 of the last 11 games, with the one blemish coming as a road favorite in Minnesota last month.
Overall, the Packers haven’t been this big of a favorite since Week 3, when LaFleur’s team scored a 35-17 win over the visiting Detroit Lions as an 11.5-point favorite.
The Bears are 4-8 overall and 4-8 against the spread this season. Chicago hasn’t been this big of an underdog since losing 38-3 as a 12-point underdog to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this season.
