Despite all the movement in recent weeks in the Pac-12 that has left Oregon State’s future unknown, the football team’s recruiting appears to be unharmed so far.

The Beavers added their 14th commitment of the 2024 class Monday, as head coach Jonathan Smith remains steady in keeping his future class intact.

Eddie Freauff, an in-state recruit from Crook County High School, announced his commitment to Oregon State just days after the Pac-12 lost five schools to other conferences.

On Friday, Oregon and Washington announced their move to the Big Ten Conference effective in 2024, and Arizona, Arizona State and Utah announced they would join the Big 12 Conference.

That movement came after Colorado announced in late July that it’s moving to the Big 12.

The futures of Oregon State, Washington State, Stanford and California are unknown.

The Beavers, coming off a 10-win season, are expected to be good again this fall, as they are ranked No. 18 in the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll.

Freauff was listed as a wide receiver and defensive back on Crook County’s roster last season. As a recruit, Rivals.com lists him as a wide receiver, and 247Sports.com lists him as an athlete.

Oregon State’s 2024 recruiting class currently has 14 commitments, consisting of nine on offense, two on defense and three athletes.

Rivals has the Beavers’ class ranked 66th in the nation.

Here is a look at all of the Beavers’ commits. Position rankings based on 247Sports.com.
