OSAA weekly coaches polls: Willamette girls No. 1 in 5A, Junction City moves to top of 4A boys
Junction City extended its winning streak to six games over the weekend and on Tuesday jumped to the top of the OSAA Class 4A coaches boys basketball rankings.
The Tigers (12-2) picked up seven of the 12 first-place votes to move from fourth to first, bumping Sky-Em League rival Marshfield out of the top spot. The Pirates, who got two first-place votes, dropped to third.
Willamette (9-0) remained atop the Class 5A girls rankings as it received all 11 first-place votes. The Wolverines were joined in the top 10 by fellow Midwestern League teams Crater and Springfield, who were fifth and tied for seventh, respectively.
