As the Oregon Ducks are preparing to head to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Utes on Saturday, the latest College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday night.

A week after moving up from fourth to third, Oregon remains at No. 3 this week. Georgia is still in the top spot, followed by Alabama. Ohio State is fourth and Cincinnati rounds out the top five.

This week, the only other Pac-12 team in the College Football Playoff rankings is Utah, which happens to be Oregon's opponent this weekend. The Utes are at the No. 23 spot in the poll.

Oregon (9-1, 6-1 Pac-12) is coming off a 38-24 victory against Washington State. If the Ducks win one of their last two games against either the Utes or the Oregon State Beavers, Oregon will clinch a spot in the Pac-12 Championship in Las Vegas on Dec. 3.

However, Oregon has bigger aspirations. If the Ducks win out, a spot in the College Football Playoff is likely. The Orange Bowl and the Cotton Bowl Classic will host the two College Football Playoff semifinals games on Dec. 31.
