Ole Miss basketball tops Temple thanks to Allen Flanigan's heroics
Ole Miss basketball picked up another close victory in its first road contest of the year, topping Temple 77-76.
After leading for virtually the entire game, the Rebels (5-0) found themselves trailing the Owls (3-2) with under 10 seconds to go.
They turned to fifth-year guard Allen Flanigan, who was fouled in the lane and connected on both of the ensuing free throws to put Ole MIss ahead to stay.
Flanigan's clutch moment highlighted a stellar afternoon for the Auburn transfer, who finished with 26 points, eight rebounds and seven assists to lead the Rebels.
