Three things to know about OSU vs. Texas

► Oklahoma State is most likely destined to play in the No. 8-seed vs. No. 9-seed game in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament next week. The only way the Cowgirls could fall to the 10th seed is with a loss against Texas along with a loss by Texas Tech to Baylor and a win by TCU over Kansas State.

OSU is coming off its best offensive performance of the season, scoring 76 points in its loss to OU. Sophomore guard Lexy Keys had a team-high 20 points and has scored at least 13 in four of the last five games.

► The Cowgirls have been on the verge of a few upsets in recent games, despite the fact that they’re playing a ranked opponent for the third time in the last four games. Their last three losses have been by seven points or fewer, including a four-point loss at West Virginia and a three-point loss to OU. They also took fifth-ranked Baylor to the wire in a 65-58 loss on Feb. 23.
