OKC Blue acquire two 2022 second-round picks from Iowa Wolves for Justin Jaworski
The OKC Blue continue to wheel and deal under general manager Nazr Mohammed.
The Blue — the Oklahoma City Thunder’s G League affiliate — announced on Friday that they acquired two second-round picks from the Iowa Wolves in the 2022 NBA G League draft in exchange for the rights of Justin Jaworski.
The Iowa Wolves are the G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Blue received the 41st and 42nd picks and will have five selections in Saturday’s draft, including the fifth, eighth and 66th picks.
Jaworski played in 37 games with Oklahoma City during the 2021-22 season and averaged 8 points and 2.6 rebounds per game while shooting 40.2% from the field and 37.6% from three.
The Blue is scheduled to start their season on Nov. 4 against the G League Ignite.
