Ohio State defeated Louisville 4-0 on Sunday to advance to the third round of the NCAA men's tennis tournament.

The third-seeded Buckeyes will face No. 14 Arizona next, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals. Arizona defeated Oklahoma State 4-0 on Saturday.

Ohio State took the doubles point, as Cannon Kingsley and JJ Tracy won 6-1 while Andrew Lutschaunig and James Trotter won 6-2. In singles, the Buckeyes got victories from Alexander Bernard, Trotter and Tracy. Kingsley, Justin Boulais and Jack Anthrop were leading their singles matches when the Buckeyes clinched.

Ohio State women advance

The women's team defeated Vanderbilt 4-2 Saturday in the NCAA second round. After losing the doubles point, the Buckeyes got singles victories from Irina Cantos Siemers, Lucia Marzal, Shelly Bereznyak and Danielle Wilson.

Ohio State, the No. 10 seed, will face No. 7 Stanford at 4 p.m. Friday in Palo Alto, California, with the winner going to the quarterfinals.

“I’m just really happy for our players," said OSU coach Melissa Schaub. "They have worked hard, and it wasn’t easy after dropping the doubles point today. We came out with confidence starting singles and were able to maintain that level throughout. We are excited to get a chance to compete again.”
