Ohio State is under the NCAA's annual limit of 85 scholarship players for the upcoming season.

While it added a commitment from South Carolina transfer safety Keenan Nelson Jr. on Friday, it saw six players put their names in the transfer portal during the spring window, leaving the Buckeyes with 81 scholarship players.

The projection should rise in the weeks ahead as the Buckeyes still have room on the roster to add more transfers or award scholarships to walk-ons.
