Ohio State cornerback Cameron Brown exits Toledo game with apparent injury

Ohio State is down another cornerback.

Redshirt senior cornerback Cameron Brown was escorted to the locker room with a trainer in the second quarter of the Buckeyes' game against Toledo.

Jakailin Johnson replaced Brown at cornerback.

In the first half, Ohio State's defense allowed two touchdowns — a 23-yard run by Toledo quarterback Dequan Finn and a 50-yard pass from Finn to Thomas Zsiros.

Brown's 2020 season ended early when he tore an Achilles tendon in the second game against Penn State and missed three games in 2021 with other nagging injuries.

Last season, Brown had 25 tackles and an interception.
